Anatomy

Studying human anatomy is really important in my practical field. When it comes to comics (Adventure and Thriller ) it is important to illustrate the right positions to make it as realistic as possible.  Using references is easier than just imagining how the body works. Also, observing our surrounding (humans , animal or environment ) could be helpful for self learning.

A book called "Human Anatomy for Artists: The Elements of Form"by Goldfinger used to be my reference when I've been drawing an old comic. Since then I've started to memories some of the human anatomy which helped me later on in my current work.

Sketching

Usually I prefer to sketch my work traditionally using pens and inks (Copic Multiliner). Because I control my pen and use it better that the digital.

Coloring

The next step is either scanning the drawing or taking picture of it . Then I upload it on Photoshop for coloring.

Digital vs Copic

Recently I've been doing a lot of practice on my digital skills. I always preferred using markers since I have limited option of colors. Then it accrued to me to limit the color options on Photoshop as well.
